About

The Web Standards and Usability User Group (wsuug) was founded in 2007 with the goal of promoting best practices in the field of Web development from concept to creation through periodic meetings and an online mailing list. Since our first meeting on July 26, 2007, we have covered topics including usability, accessibility, type, testing, and browsers.

The wsuug spreads the good word about standards and user centric design by inviting the local community of web developers, computer geeks and anyone with an interest in these topics to join in our meetings and mailing list discussions.

Although we call the Hampton Roads area home, we promote participation in the larger community of Virginia web developers. Even if you can't make it to our local meetings, join our mailing list and join in the discussion.

The one of the primary goals of the wsuug is to create a network of professionals in Hampton Roads. Within this network we share ideas and techniques to keep ourselves on top of the industry.

We currently meet on the first Tuesday of each month. Get involved.
